The audience for our media product would be pretty much teenagers that are a similar age to the members of the group. As this was our intended audience it made it a lot easier to make the film as we pretty much just had to make it how we would want it to be or what we would like to see if we went to see a superhero film as of course they are the same age and would therefore, hopefully anyway, have the same interests and would like to see the same sort of thing that we do. However in order to make sure that we were actually doing what the audience wanted we chose to ask them through the use of questionnaires that more or less asked them what they would like to see from a superhero film. When we were aware of what people wanted to see, after we got back the results of the questionnaire, were able to add the requested things to our film, if they were possible with our budget or rather lack of. With the inclusion of the requested features we therefore had more confidence that the film would appeal to our target audience. To show our film to our audience we shared both the finished edit of Glove Man as well as a trailer for it on YouTube. This means that it is both accessible to our target audience and what would be considered as a secondary target audience which could consist of both adults and children therefore giving a wider audience and consequently wider appeal.
