Snatch opening credits analysis

In this first shot it is filmed from behind an unidentified character that is pretty much just a silhouette. Behind him is the first of the credits showing the production company, which is Matthew Vaughn. The text is also very basic bold text and is also white in colour which helps it to stand out amongst the darker background. It is also positioned at the bottom of the screen which means that the audience can see what is going on in the shot.

These three shots show a transition that first shows Turkish. It then fades to black with the speech from the next scene starting whilst the screen is still black. It then fades in to the next shot where the dialogue is coming from. At the bottom of the screen in the same font style as above the location of the screen is shown.

This shot shows the introduction of the cast of characters it is filmed as if being watched on TV, which is filmed from a CCTV camera. The style of the credits is also written and displayed using a basic bold grey font that has been highlighted in black. Though it is a basic font style I feel that it works very well with the colours and the way that the shot is filmed as well as the theme.
